We have always had a special relationship with Morocco; it may be because it was the first non-European country visited, but it immediately amazed and made people fall in love.
We have visited it on several occasions, always feeling at home, fascinated by this world so close geographically but also so far away.

Leaving the Atlas Mountains, you are immediately on the edge of the Sahara, and the landscape becomes relaxed.
Small villages of low houses, and dromedaries to enjoy the little shade available.
Near Tinghir and the Todra canyon, it is possible to climb the Atlas Mountains for beautiful hikes. The weather is very variable, depending not only on the disturbances but also on the sand raised by the winds of the Sahara.
The trails are well marked, although on some occasions a GPS would not go badly. You have the opportunity to visit small villages inhabited by poor people, and enjoy total silence.
