Of Provence we visited mainly Arles and the Camargue.
The first is an ancient city poised between France and Spain, both for traditions and architecture. Bullfights and the "Camarghense race" are celebrated where the protagonist for once is the bull, which is not sacrificed but rather celebrated.
The Camargue, with the mixture of land and water typical of the deltas, in addition to the villages of St Marie de la Mare and Aiguesmortes, offers beaches, silence, ornithological parks, boat trips and much more.
