We visited Portugal in the summer of 2020, in that suspended time that followed COVID.
It was a Portugal poised between the desire for normality, and the impossibility of closing its eyes to a pandemic that was still ongoing.
However, it was a nice tour, without too many tourists, which took us from Lisbon to Porto via Extremadura and the Algarve, between white villages flooded with light and coasts bordering the ocean.

The famous tram 28 climbs through the narrow streets of Lisbon, surrounded by pastel-colored historic buildings and illuminated by a golden light that enhances every detail.
In this photo, the charm of the city mixes with everyday life: a person crosses the street with his dog, while the yellow tram continues its journey between history and modernity.
A simple moment, but full of urban poetry
